Living across the country from most of our family and friends means they won’t get to share in the good eats, so we decided to start a little food diary. This page will follow the spots we frequent, our adventurous restaurant week visits, food from our travels, and a little bit of us living out our Gordon Ramsay dreams. A Saturday staple before browsing Eastern Market.

Le Pain Quotidien’s cream donut is a brioche shell filled with a homemade French cream and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s like a supersized version of Richie’s cream puff from Christmas brunch at the Sacco’s. The lemon tart was very smooth, not too sour, and perfectly sweet.
